Selina's takes shape from a family’s decision to grow together rather than apart. The owner grew up in a well-appointed home built on the same land in the late 1970s, a house that once comfortably held a single family. As time passed and generations arrived, the need for more space became inevitable. Though each branch of the family could have chosen its own home, the decision was instead to remain together, gathering multiple generations under one roof to preserve closeness, care, and shared daily life.
The house unfolds in layers of togetherness. The lower floors open outward, welcoming guests and shared celebrations, while the spaces above accommodate family life. Higher levels provide room for play, rest, and reflection. The house becomes a place where children and grandchildren can grow, carrying forward the sense of comfort the owner himself grew up with.
Memory remains deeply woven into the home. A cherished mural from the earlier house has been carefully brought forward, and marble from the old floors has been reused in the new construction. These elements live on as quiet reminders of life in the previous house, gently calling back memory and nostalgia. Through them, Selina's becomes a home shaped by time, belonging, and enduring bonds.
